Your LogBrew account ties together your projects, integrations, notification preferences, and saved filters. Everything lives on the Settings, Account screen, where you can update your profile, switch languages, and manage your sign-in options.

Sign in with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket

LogBrew uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate you. No passwords are created or stored. On first launch, choose one of the three providers and complete the OAuth flow in the browser sheet that opens.
If you use the same email address across multiple providers, for example, the same address on GitHub and GitLab, LogBrew automatically links them into a single account. Signing in with either provider takes you to the same account and data.

Change your display name

Your display name appears in shared event links and the account screen.
1

Open Settings

Tap the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen.
2

Go to Account

Tap Account at the top of the settings list.
3

Edit display name

Tap Display Name, type your new name, and save.

Change the app language

LogBrew is available in 11 languages. The language setting controls all in-app text, including event labels, error messages, and settings screens.
1

Open Settings, Account

Tap Settings, then tap Account.
2

Tap Language

Tap Language to open the language picker.
3

Select a language

Choose from the list and tap to confirm. The app switches immediately. No restart required.
LogBrew currently supports the following languages:
  • English
  • Turkish
  • Spanish
  • German
  • French
  • Portuguese
  • Chinese (Simplified)
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Hindi
  • Arabic

Sign out

Signing out removes your session from the current device. Your projects, events, logs, and preferences are preserved on the server and available when you sign back in.
1

Open Settings, Account

Tap Settings, then tap Account.
2

Tap Sign Out

Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen and tap Sign Out.

Delete your account

Deleting your account is not immediate. LogBrew gives you a short recovery window during which you can reverse the decision before your data is permanently removed.
After the recovery window closes, your projects, events, logs, integrations, and notification preferences are permanently gone. This action cannot be undone.
1

Open Settings, Account

Tap Settings, then tap Account.
2

Tap Delete Account

Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Confirm the prompt to proceed.
3

Recovery window begins

Your account is marked for deletion. The app signs you out and you cannot browse while deletion is pending.

Recovering a deleted account

If you change your mind, sign back in with the same OAuth provider before the recovery window closes. LogBrew will show a recovery prompt asking if you want to restore your account. Tap Restore to cancel the deletion and return to your account exactly as you left it.
If you accidentally delete your account, sign back in as soon as possible to see the recovery option. Once the window closes, the deletion is final and signing in creates a fresh account.
